Dazzling diamonds, luxury resort wear and lyrical paintings at The Suite Fine jewellery, Fashion and Art pop-up

Diamonds and rare coloured gemstones, Italian silk dresses and Georgian handbags, mesmerising lyrical paintings — and a big dose of fun. These were the ingredients in The Suite, Fine jewellery, fashion and art pop-up last week in Geneva — a sleek one night only retail experience that kicked off the start of the holiday shopping season.

Hosted on Wednesday 17 November in the prestigious Royal Suite at Beau-Rivage Genève, the The Suite pop-up marked our first ever collaboration with The Amanqi Consultancy, a Dubai-based digital agency — founded in Geneva— dedicated to growing emerging luxury brands and talents in fashion, beauty, jewellery and more.

Founder of The Amanqi Consultancy, Manal Waqi, is no stranger to cross-continental collaborations and has often—and successfully— ventured out of Dubai to offer carefully curated experiences, that showcase unique labels from across the globe. Speaking on teaming up with The Amanqi group, Stephanie founder of elevatedliving said ‘In bringing together two different universes, we not only establish new avenues for designers to communicate their stories, but connect shoppers with a wider demographic of brands, who share their same values.’ The event combined Amanqi’s contemporary style sense, with elevatedliving’s expert eye for all things conscious luxury, creating an immersive and highly customised shopping experience, that connected guests with some of the most sophisticated and sustainable brands in the market.

The pop-up showcased 11 Swiss and Middle-Eastern talents from the world’s of fine jewellery, fashion and art, and satisfied a most discerning clientele with a highly curated edit of their ready-to-wear clothing, accessories and paintings for purchase. With the likes of Racine Jewels, Amira Karaouli Jewellery, By Sarah, Jwaher Jewels Meher, Obari, Maison H Jewels, Stone Fine Jewellery, Wafa Balaswad, Hansine, By Adushka and Simone Monney, the brands were chosen to reflect the best examples from across all categories, shining a light on creative designers who are positively changing the luxury world.

Key highlights included the long awaited pieces from Middle Eastern jewellery brand Obari, known for their timeless creations with unmatched designs, and Geneva-based Racine Jewels —who hand-craft jewellery using locally-sourced materials and gemstones found in antique pieces. For clothing, Dubai-based womenswear brand Wafa Balaswad inspired with their bold color palette of chic and modern silhouettes, along with luxury bohemian label Hansine, whose collection of beautiful dresses and knitwear produced ethically in London—using bespoke Italian fabrics—was a big hit with the crowd.

‘The event was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the incredible line up of talented designers to the overall vibe, it was a great celebration of all things design, art and culture. It was equally delightful to meet the lovely individuals who attended and graced us with their presence’ Manal Waqi tells us. Guests were greeted by cool sounds and champagne as they discovered the Royal Suite —one of the most prestigious rooms in the Beau-Rivage Genève—adorned with works of art, Murano glass chandeliers and an entire marble conservatory offering magical views of Lake Geneva. Laid out in a relaxed style, the space encouraged shoppers to experiment and try on items—rather than viewing them in a case—and discover the colours and intricate artistry of the designs up close.

With a superior line up of coveted brands and emerging talents, exceptional personalities and stories — and good music of course, The Suite pop-up was the go-to shopping destination for high-quality, sustainably minded products— perfect for holiday gifting this year.
