KHORA, the new culinary hotspot bringing the flavours of Greece to Geneva

KHORA restaurant is the latest hit from the Shelter Group, the growing F&B brand committed to changing the culinary scene in Geneva. Behind the openings of two popular restaurants in the Eaux-Vives district, the group have designed yet another venue where good food and stylish interior are not compromised.

Think richly flavoured, refined Greek sharing plates, and a sleek space with creative cocktails that have made KHORA the mainstay hangout for the cool crowd. Inspired by the culinary culture in Greece, the restaurant creates an authentic dining experience where the joyous and social activity of sharing food is key.

The cuisine is traditional yet contemporary, offering guests classical Greek recipes plated stylishly through the direction of chef Konstantinos Kamperis. Guests can indulge in a range of delicious starters, from the trilogy of greek spreads featuring a creamy tzatziki dip with grilled pita bread, to the crispy fried calamari topped with pickle lemon mayonnaise. Next? Try the delicious dakos salad, sprinkled with tomatoes and Cretan feta, and pair it with the roasted rack of lamb. Savour every bite.

When it comes to drinks, the bar serves a range of unique and innovative cocktails crafted by bartender Alexandros. The Agean & Tonic is one of our favourites, made with Greek grace premium gin and garnished with basil and a slice of watermelon, capturing everything about summertime by the Mediterranean sea.

The restaurant was designed jointly by the architectural firm Cent Degrés Switzerland, the Geneva agency Cornelius and the artist Patric Csajko, who’s new project offers a sophisticated journey through Greece.

Inside you’ll notice white-washed walls, deep blue leather seating and ocean blue tiles that bring to life the charming atmosphere of the seaside. There are two main rooms, separated by a lavish olive tree and a candlelit staircase, beautifully designed and reminiscent of classical Greek architecture. Whether it’s the decorative plates on the walls dedicated to the god Bacchus, or the stylish rope feature lining the ceiling, the restaurant creates a memorable experience.
