Switzerland’s Most Beautiful Fitness Studios to Work Out in Style

Across Switzerland, a new generation of fitness studios is redefining what it means to work out. These are not spaces built on routine or repetition, but on atmosphere, intention and design.

From music-led reformer sessions in Geneva to biometrics-driven training concepts and gallery-like Pilates studios, each address brings its own perspective to wellbeing. Here, strength is built with precision, energy is guided by rhythm, and recovery is woven seamlessly into the experience. The result is a collection of spaces where movement becomes something to enjoy and remember, not just complete.

FORM Studio, Geneva

At FORM Studio in Geneva’s vibrant Paquis district, movement unfolds to the rhythm of music, shaping an experience that feels as sensory as it is physical.

From the moment you step inside, the space signals a total shift in pace. Clean lines and a cool, industrial aesthetic are softened by atmospheric lighting and subtle neon accents, creating a setting that feels both contemporary and immersive. Music leads each session, guiding tempo and focus, transforming effort into flow and allowing the body to move with precision. The approach to reformer Pilates centres on control and alignment, leveraging state-of-the-art equipment to build strength with intention rather than intensity alone. At FORM, it’s not about pushing harder, but about moving smarter, where sound, design and discipline come together seamlessly.

OPEN RIDE, Basel

At OPEN RIDE, fitness takes on an entirely new dimension, where the electric energy of a nightclub meets the discipline of performance. Founded by Eva Nidecker, the concept transforms indoor cycling into a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience driven by music, light and collective momentum.

Step inside and the atmosphere is immediate. Industrial architecture is elevated through bold design gestures, from striking red structures and clean, architectural volumes to high-intensity lighting installations that shift with the rhythm of each ride. In the darkened studio, grids of neon light stretch overhead, creating a futuristic, almost cinematic setting where time dissolves and focus sharpens. Whether it’s rhythm, power or event riding, each session is guided by sound and sensation, building in waves and syncing body and mind to the beat. More than a workout, OPEN RIDE creates a shared energy, a space where community, culture and movement truly thrive.

POWERCUBE, Geneva

In Geneva, POWERCUBE sets the tone for a new generation of wellness, where performance, technology and sensorial design converge. At its core lies a biometrics-driven method built on real-time data, personalised protocols, and a seamless ecosystem where training, biohacking and nutrition merge to optimise human potential.

The space itself is an experience. Designed by architectural duo Charis P. and Meryem A., it unfolds with intuitive flow, where cool monochromes meet warm textures and light moves softly across mineral tones. High-energy training zones, enhanced by club-like lighting that moves rhythmically across the space, transition into a cocoon-like biohacking suite featuring the latest technologies, including red light therapy and Zerobody cryo. At the heart of the experience, the Fuel Bar introduces a moment of pause and refuel. A cool, monochrome counter anchors the space, complemented by a plush, bubble-like sofa where clients can enjoy thoughtfully crafted, functional meals and smoothies that complete the journey.

JOIA Studio, Neuchâtel

Tucked away within a beautifully restored townhouse in Neuchâtel, overlooking the lake, JOIA’s interiors set the tone for a more refined and intentional approach to movement, where cutting-edge Merrithew® Reformer equipment meets a historic setting rich in character.

Sunlight filters through tall windows, illuminating ornate mouldings and polished wooden floors, while a twinkling chandelier casts a glow, creating a calm yet elevated atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The result is an environment that supports focus without ever feeling clinical. Founded by Joëlle and Ladivia, with a presence in several Swiss locations, JOIA goes beyond the traditional Pilates studio, offering a holistic and community-driven experience where movement, wellbeing and connection come together. From dynamic sessions to more restorative formats, each class is designed to meet individual needs while fostering a strong sense of belonging.

Reformer Club, Basel

In the heart of the Basel’s most culturally vibrant district, steps away from the famous Messe exhibition center, Reformer Club Basel introduces a slower, more intentional rhythm to movement. Surrounded by a thriving art and design scene, the studio offers a serene contrast, where focus, control and precision take centre stage.

The interiors reflect this balance. Soft, sculptural seating and neutral tones create a calm, gallery-like atmosphere, while fluid light installations nod to the surrounding art culture, and vibrant LED accents introduce just the right amount of energy. At its core lies Slow Resistance Training (SRT), a method built on time under tension and mindful control. Each session invites a deeper connection to the body, strengthening from within while remaining low-impact. Reformer Club Basel is a space to slow down, tune in and move with purpose, in one of the city’s most dynamic settings.

Le Bod, Geneva

Tucked within the historic heart of Geneva’s Old Town, Le Bod reimagines the studio experience, offering a carefully curated space where performance and high design coexist.

Conceived by founder Shana Nussberger, it feels closer to a contemporary gallery than a traditional Lagree studio. Think vaulted brick ceilings, sculptural mirrors and soft, ambient lighting that creates a refined, almost cinematic atmosphere. Each detail is intentional, from the rare Lagree Micro Pro machines, exclusive in Geneva, to the fluid layout and plush furnishings that invite both movement and connection. With a maximum of just four clients per session, each class offers a rare sense of intimacy. Whether building strength, exploring endurance or slowing down through restorative sequences, the experience is guided with precision, style and quiet elegance.

INDIGO Fitness Club, Zurich

In Zurich, INDIGO Fitness Club channels a distinctly urban energy, where industrial architecture meets precision-driven performance in a space that feels both powerful and considered.

Set across a vast, multi-level layout, the interiors embrace a raw, New York aesthetic—exposed concrete, visible ductwork and clean structural lines define the space, while sharp lighting and bold architectural gestures, including a striking central staircase, create a dynamic sense of movement throughout. Equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym and Eleiko systems, the experience is built for performance at the highest level. Expansive training zones flow seamlessly into dedicated recovery areas, where a sleek spa with sauna, steam and cold immersion offers a counterpoint to the intensity.
