Launched in 2021 by Raphy Fathi and Clement Cuq, Timenest has quickly carved out a unique name for itself developing some of the most sophisticated, multifunctional and design-oriented watch cases on the market. Born from the Geneva-based entrepreneurs’s passion for timepieces and personal search for storage solutions, the brand reinterprets traditional styles, offering ultra-sleek, customisable cases that elevate the overall experience of owning a watch.
The brand’s attention to detail is apparent in almost everything it does: from its innovative selection of Nest cases, composed of superior French-calfskin leather and Italian Alcantara; to the sleek Table Nest unit, a timeless leather-clad storage tray—composed of Statuario marble from Verona—made to guard your case while elevating your interior decor. The founders recently unveiled their latest collection of brushed Aluminium Nest Trays, all with the same promise of outstanding quality, but with an updated, and more modern and futuristic style. It’s another prime example of Timenest’s dedication to innovating the watch case sector and creating products that appeal to the modern day consumer.

Tell us more about your latest release?
With this new release we sought to evolve our classic design with a more modern aesthetic, and expand possibilities for style combinations. By implementing brushed aluminium, we not only offer a new design, with a unique and exceptional material, but the products are more affordable and enable younger consumers, who are more price conscious, to start creating their own collection and building it over time. Consumers who are less drawn to marble, for example, now have the option to pair their case with a minimalist aluminium tray, and upgrade to another style when they feel like it. For us, it’s always been about disrupting traditional notions of watch cases, and offering people endless ways to protect and display their most valuable items with style.
What was the inspiration behind it?
The new products embrace contemporary design codes and showcase a more modern and futuristic style. The idea was to highlight the beauty in simplicity, using a smooth material like brushed aluminium in blue or grey, which literally shines and illuminates the items placed onto it. The quality of the aluminium is apparent in the weight of the tray itself, while the uninterrupted surface of the material, forms a perfect continuity with any space it is displayed in.
What is your favorite thing about this collection?
It has to be the brushed aluminium metal — as its something totally different and not often seen in watch cases or trays. It’s a glossy material that gives off a unique metallic lustre and completely stands out from the rest. The aluminium is also 100% handcrafted in Geneva, with the entire process of brushing and colouring achieved in our home city. With this release, we aimed to connect closer to Geneva and produce a product that not only supports and empowers local artisans, but showcases their unique ‘savoir faire’ to the world.

In between designing products and expanding our in-store visibility, we will be displaying at the prestigious The Suite II — fine jewellery, art and watches luxury pop-up in Geneva on 17 August, and the OMEGA MASTERS golf tournament in Crans Montana — where we look forward to revealing our latest products and connecting with the community!
