Jazz and Cocktail evening at La Réserve
La Réserve Genève is a luxury hotel and spa ideally located alongside the magical shores of Lake Geneva. The hotel is a popular spot for guests to cocoon themselves away from the city and reap the benefits of spa treatments, high-quality food and lakeside views. Regularly hosting some of swankiest events throughout the year, the hotel is back this week with five entertaining and ultra-unplugged jazz and cocktail evenings. Featuring an exceptional barmen specially invited from London, and talented Emiliano Franco who will perform live jazz and soul music, the evenings promise to be a memorable occasion.

“The Brandenburg Concertos” ballet by Anna Teresa De Keersmaeker
The Grand Théâtre de Genève is one of the largest musical theatres in French-speaking Switzerland, hosting a range of opera and ballet productions throughout the year. The theatre has been praised for its creative selection of classical and contemporary shows, and is set to impress this Friday with another captivating ballet. This Friday talented dancer and choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker will present “The Brandenburg Concertos,” a musical ballet named after the Brandenburg Concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach. During her 1980 stay in New York, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker rehearsed a dance piece called FASE to the music of Steve Reich, which later became her breakthrough as a dancer and choreographer. Almost 40 years later, De Keersmaeker has now crafted a two hour long piece to Bach’s six concerti grossi. Featuring 16 dancers and 23 musicians, the ballet explores a balanced dialogue between classical sounds and movement, set to captivate and inspire.
