Whats the story?
Owned by the international group IWG, one of the leaders in the flexible working sphere, the Quartier des Banques takes co-working to a whole new level: providing an exclusive working environment with retro design offices, high-end furniture and artwork, a modern gym with on-demand personal trainers, a cinema and beautifully decked out lounge bar crafted by architect Patrice Reynaud. And look out for the trendy ground-floor restaurant Monsieur Bouillon, the latest opening by famed Michelin-starred Chef Philippe Chevrier.
The idea is to make “working” a productive and inspiring experience, inviting a diverse group of individuals to join a sophisticated community, with high-quality services and amenities. “We wanted to create a place that welcomes all kinds of workers—from big business executives to start-up entrepreneurs, and even artists and musicians—its an inviting and inspiring space that brings a whole range of industries together” Philippe Peress, joint-owner of the IWG franchise in Switzerland tells us.
Whats the interior like?
The co-working space occupies a charming building dating back to 1877, renovated and re-developed by architect Patrice Reynaud. The entire space pleases the eye, with a stylish and chic interior, complemented by vintage and retro design pieces. Every detail has been carefully thought out, with artwork from renowned artists James Turrell and Nigel Cooke, hand-picked from the Pace Gallery in Geneva.
